Your personal profile on Cibocom represents you as an individual professional within the platform. It tells counterparties who you are, what role you hold, and how to reach you — building the trust that underpins every successful trade. Keeping your profile accurate and up to date ensures your communications are attributed correctly and that other members of the network can connect with the right person at your company.

Accessing your profile

Navigate to your profile settings from any page in the platform.
1

Open Settings

Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the navigation bar to open the account menu.
2

Select Profile

Choose Settings from the dropdown, then select Profile in the left-hand settings navigation.
3

Edit your details

Click Edit Profile to enable editing. Make your changes, then click Save Changes to apply them.

Profile fields

Your personal profile contains the following fields. Fill in every field to present a complete, credible identity to your trading counterparties.

Full Name

Enter your first and last name as you would like them to appear to other Cibocom members. Use your professional name, not a nickname or alias.

Job Title

Enter your current role at your company — for example, Head of Procurement or Export Sales Manager. This helps counterparties understand your authority and relevance.

Email Address

Your email address is used for login and platform notifications. To change it, enter a new address and confirm it via the verification email sent to the new address.

Phone Number

Add a direct phone number so counterparties and your team can reach you when a trade needs urgent attention. Include your country code.

Profile Photo

Upload a clear headshot so counterparties can put a face to your name. Accepted formats are JPG and PNG; maximum file size is 5 MB.
Upload a professional headshot rather than a logo or a generic image. Counterparties are significantly more likely to engage with a listing or connection request when they can see the person behind the account.

Changing your password

Update your password at any time from the Profile settings page.
1

Go to Security

In the Profile settings section, scroll to Security or select the Password tab if shown separately.
2

Enter your current password

Type your existing password in the Current Password field to confirm your identity.
3

Set a new password

Enter your new password in the New Password field, then repeat it in Confirm New Password. Passwords must be at least 10 characters and include a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols.
4

Save

Click Update Password. You will remain logged in on your current device, but any other active sessions will be signed out.
If you have forgotten your current password, log out and use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in page to receive a reset email.

Language and timezone settings

Cibocom displays dates, times, and certain interface labels according to your language and timezone preferences.
1

Open Preferences

In Settings → Profile, scroll to the Preferences section.
2

Select your language

Choose your preferred display language from the Language dropdown. The interface will reload in the selected language immediately.
3

Set your timezone

Select your local timezone from the Timezone dropdown. All timestamps on listings, bids, deals, and shipments will be shown in this timezone.
4

Save preferences

Click Save Preferences to apply both settings.
Setting the correct timezone is especially important when reviewing bid expiry times and shipment deadlines, which are shown in your local time.

Linked accounts and single sign-on

If your company has configured Single Sign-On (SSO) with Cibocom, you can link your corporate identity provider account to your Cibocom profile for seamless, password-free login.
1

Open Linked Accounts

In Settings → Profile, select the Linked Accounts tab.
2

Connect your identity provider

Click Connect next to your company’s identity provider (for example, Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace). You will be redirected to your provider’s login page to authorise the connection.
3

Confirm the link

Once authorised, you are returned to Cibocom and the linked account appears as Active. From this point you can sign in via the SSO option on the Cibocom login page.
SSO must be enabled for your organisation by a company administrator before individual users can link their accounts. Contact your Cibocom company admin if the Linked Accounts tab is not visible.
