Your company profile is the public face of your organisation on Cibocom. It tells potential counterparties who you are, what you trade, where you operate, and why they should do business with you. A complete, accurate profile increases your visibility in relevant commodity markets, accelerates trust-building with new connections, and ensures that the right buyers or sellers can find and approach your company. Incomplete profiles are less likely to appear in search results and may cause counterparties to question your legitimacy.

Accessing your company profile

1

Open Settings

Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then select Settings.
2

Select Company

In the left-hand settings navigation, click Company to open the company profile editor.
3

Begin editing

Click Edit Company Profile to unlock all fields. Click Save Changes after updating each section, or complete the whole profile before saving.

Basic company information

Provide accurate, official details that match your legal registration. These are the first things a counterparty will verify.

Company Name

The trading name your company is known by — this is displayed on all listings, bids, and deals.

Legal Name

The full registered legal name of your entity, used for compliance and contractual purposes.

Country

The country where your company is registered or primarily operates. This determines which markets and trade lanes are most relevant to you.

City

Your primary city of business. Counterparties often filter by geography when looking for local or regional suppliers and buyers.

Website

Add your company website URL. A verified web presence adds credibility and allows counterparties to research your business independently.

About your company

The About section gives you space to describe your business in your own words. Use it to explain what your company does, your trading philosophy, the regions you serve, and the commodities you specialise in. Write 2–5 sentences covering:
  • What your company does (importer, exporter, processor, trader, distributor)
  • The commodities or product categories you focus on
  • The geographies or trade lanes you operate in
  • Any key differentiators (volume capacity, cold-chain capability, certifications)
Write the About section in plain, professional language. Avoid jargon and marketing hyperbole — counterparties read this to assess whether you are a serious, relevant trading partner.
Upload your official company logo to make your profile and listings immediately recognisable across the platform.
1

Go to Logo

In the Company profile editor, scroll to the Logo section.
2

Upload your logo

Click Upload Logo and select a PNG or JPG file. For best results, use a square image at least 400 × 400 pixels.
3

Crop and confirm

Use the crop tool to centre your logo, then click Save Logo.

Contact details

Provide a primary trading contact so counterparties know who to reach if they want to discuss a listing or deal outside the platform.

Commodities and specialties

Telling Cibocom which commodities you buy and sell is one of the most important steps in setting up your company profile. The platform uses this information to surface your listings to relevant counterparties and to include you in market activity alerts.
1

Open Commodities

In the Company profile editor, select the Commodities & Specialties tab.
2

Add your commodities

Select each commodity you actively trade from the list. Categories include Beef, Pork, Poultry, Lamb & Mutton, Seafood, Dairy, and more. You can select multiple commodities and subcategories (for example, Beef → Frozen Trim).
3

Specify buy or sell

For each commodity, indicate whether you Buy, Sell, or Both. This allows counterparties to filter for the right type of partner instantly.
4

Save your selections

Click Save Commodities to apply.
A complete commodities profile is one of the strongest signals Cibocom uses to match your listings with interested counterparties. Companies that list their traded commodities in detail receive significantly more relevant inbound enquiries.

Certifications and compliance documents

Upload relevant food safety, quality, and trade certifications to demonstrate compliance and build counterparty confidence. Common documents to upload include:
  • HACCP / ISO 22000 food safety certifications
  • USDA, EU, Halal, Kosher export approval letters
  • BRC, SQF, or equivalent quality certificates
  • Import/export licences for regulated commodities
  • Chamber of Commerce company registration
1

Open Certifications

Select the Certifications tab in the Company profile editor.
2

Upload a document

Click Add Certification, select the document type from the dropdown, enter the issuing body and expiry date, then upload the file (PDF, max 10 MB).
3

Repeat for each certificate

Add all relevant certifications. Each one appears as a verified badge or document link on your public company profile.
Keep your certification documents current. Cibocom reviews company profiles and may flag or suspend profiles with expired, missing, or inconsistent information. Counterparties rely on the accuracy of what you publish here to make decisions about trading with you.

Team members

Add colleagues so they can access the company account, manage listings, respond to bids, and handle deals under your shared company identity.
1

Open Team

Select the Team Members tab in the Company profile editor.
2

Invite a colleague

Click Invite Team Member, enter their work email address, and select their role: Admin (full access including settings) or Trader (listings, bids, and deals only).
3

They accept the invitation

Your colleague receives an email invitation to create their Cibocom account and join your company. Once they accept, they appear as an active team member.
4

Manage or remove members

To change a team member’s role or remove their access, click the menu next to their name and select Edit Role or Remove.
Each team member has their own personal login and personal profile, but all their activity — listings, bids, and deals — is associated with the shared company account.
