This guide gets you from a blank screen to active participation in Cibocom’s trading markets as quickly as possible. By the end, you will have a verified account, a complete company profile, and either a live listing or a placed bid — the two core actions that drive all trading activity on the platform.
1

Create your account

Go to app.cibocom.com/login and select Sign up. Enter your work email address and follow the verification steps. Use the email address associated with your company domain — this helps Cibocom link you to your company’s verified profile.
Check your spam folder if the verification email does not arrive within a couple of minutes.
2

Complete your personal profile

After verifying your email and setting a password, you are taken to your personal profile. Enter your full name, job title, and direct contact details. A complete profile builds credibility with counterparties and ensures they know who they are trading with.
3

Set up your company profile

Select your company from the list of verified organisations, or create a new company profile if yours does not yet exist. Add your company’s name, location, logo, and the commodity categories you trade. This step determines which markets are most relevant to you and how you appear to potential counterparties.
Fill in your commodity specialties now — Cibocom uses them to surface the most relevant markets and listings for your business.
4

Explore the markets

Navigate to Markets in the main menu. Browse the commodity categories available to your account — such as beef, pork, poultry, seafood, or dairy. Open a market to see active listings from verified sellers and buyers. Take a moment to review current listing formats and pricing structures before you post or bid.
5

Post a listing or place a bid

You are now ready to trade.
  • To sell: Open the relevant market and select New listing. Enter your product specification, quantity, delivery terms, and target price, then publish.
  • To buy: Find a listing that matches your requirements and select Place bid. Enter your bid price and any conditions, then submit.
Both actions notify the relevant counterparty immediately. Negotiations happen in a structured thread attached to the listing.
6

Track your deals

Once a bid is accepted, Cibocom creates a Deal record that both parties can access. Go to Deals in the main menu to review confirmed terms, update status, and log shipment information as the trade progresses toward completion.
