Creating Your Account
1
Go to the login page
Open app.cibocom.com/login in your browser. Select Sign up below the login form.
2
Enter your work email
Type your company email address into the sign-up field and select Continue. Use your official work domain rather than a personal address — this is how Cibocom associates you with your company’s verified profile.
3
Verify your email
Cibocom sends a verification link to the address you entered. Open your inbox and select the link to confirm your address. The link expires after 24 hours.
If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Ask your IT administrator to allowlist
no-reply@cibocom.com if your company filters external mail aggressively.4
Set your password
After verifying your email, you are prompted to create a password. Choose a strong password of at least 12 characters. You are then logged in and taken to your profile setup.
Personal Profile Setup
Your personal profile tells counterparties who you are within your organisation. Fill in the following fields from the Profile settings page:- Full name — Use your name as it appears professionally.
- Job title / role — For example, Commodity Trader, Procurement Manager, or Sales Director. This appears on your listings and bids.
- Contact details — Add a direct phone number or secondary email if you want counterparties to be able to reach you outside the platform for time-sensitive negotiations.
- Profile photo — Optional, but a photo increases response rates from counterparties.
Company Profile Setup
Your company profile is the public-facing identity of your organisation on Cibocom. Counterparties review it before deciding whether to engage with your listings or bids. Complete the following from the Company settings page:- Company name — Enter the legal or trading name of your organisation.
- Location — Select your primary country and region of operation. This informs market relevance and logistics context on your listings.
- Commodity specialties — Select every product category your company buys or sells. This controls which markets you appear in and which listings Cibocom recommends to you.
- Company logo — Upload a high-resolution version of your logo. It appears on your profile page, listings, and deal documents.
- Company description — Write a brief paragraph describing what your organisation does, the products you handle, and the markets you serve.
A fully completed company profile significantly increases engagement from counterparties. Verified companies with complete profiles — including logo, description, and commodity specialties — receive more inbound bids and listing enquiries than those with partial profiles.
Privacy Settings
Control who can see your profile and listings from the Privacy section of your account settings.- Profile visibility — Choose between All verified users or My network only. Restricting to your network limits your profile to companies you have previously connected with.
- Listing visibility — Set the default audience for new listings. You can override this on a per-listing basis when you post.
- Contact details — Choose whether your direct contact information is visible to all users, only to companies you have dealt with, or hidden entirely (platform messaging only).
Inviting Team Members
Add colleagues to your company’s Cibocom account so they can manage listings, bids, and deals on behalf of your organisation. From the Company settings page, select Team and then Invite member. Enter each colleague’s work email address and assign them a role:- Admin — Full access to company settings, team management, and all trading activity.
- Trader — Can create and manage listings, bids, deals, and shipments. Cannot change company settings or invite new members.
- Viewer — Read-only access to listings, deals, and shipments. Useful for finance or compliance team members who need visibility without trading permissions.
